Babies and children from birth to two and a half years are looked after by a dedicated team in a secure and friendly environment during the service

PLAYGROUP

Children from two and a half to four years are in this transition group which gives them more exciting play before they join K.F.C.

K.F.C. (Kids for Christ)

4 year olds right up to and including primary 7 meet each Sunday during the service, first in the Ashdale Hall, then in the church. For safety purposes children are registered with the KFC team prior to joining their individual groups. Scripture Union material is used for a lesson which is followed by a time of singing praise. There is then a period of games and/or crafts before being signed out by a parent or guardian. The KFC children are involved throughout the year in special events - Holiday Bible Club, Rainbow Party, Christmas musical and Christingle celebrations. All adults working with children have undergone Disclosure Scotland procedures and several have basic first aid training given by the Red Cross.
