DREAM OF A PLACE.

A place where lost people will find the love of God.

Where people can walk off the street and into a place where the love of God drips from the very walls of the building.

A place where broken people find healing, where those stressed out, and hurt find the healing love of Christ expressed through people who are full of God’s love and compassion.

A place where the lonely find care and friendship, where children can meet in their hundreds at a place of safety and fun.

A place where young mothers will gather with their children and have the kind of place where their needs are met.

A place where young people can crash out, can rediscover the joy of life and community and the incredible discovery of a God that loves them.

A place that is able to present the Gospel of Jesus in modern creative ways, using all the gifts and skills that our Lord has placed within our church.

A place where the place of worship is not just the sanctuary but the whole facility, a place overflowing with praise and joy and laughter and tears.

A place where the community we are placed in is served well. Where men women the young and old can feel that they have a safe place to go and meet with God. Where those who need time for quiet, for escape for reflection and peace can say- I know where to go.

A place that is like a big Family Home, with all generations meeting and interlacing and no one is excluded.

A place where people can gather and find relationship, a place that is God’s community offering the things God wants to bring to men and women who need him.

A place where the church community and the health centres come together, work in harmony, harness all the healing gifts that God has given us and begin to transform our parish in a way that honours God and benefits all.

A place where young men and women, who have never known the love of a true father or the harmony of a healthy home can find a family that cares and a Heavenly Father that will not walk out on them.

A place where kids coming home from school with no parent at home to greet them can come to be loved and looked after by people who care.

A place where marriages are restored, and where men and women struggling with their human sexuality will find true love.

A place that is so saturated with prayer that the very edifice reeks of the Holy Spirit.

A place where Jesus is honoured and worshipped and where people serve Him sacrificially.

A place that Jesus is proud of, where he turns to the Father and the Holy Spirit and says ‘ Look at that lot see how they love me, see how they serve me, see how they give everything they have to fulfil my calling in their life.

Where is this place?

Well the place is in our hearts.

We need a building that will help us make this dream a reality
