Ian & Heather Ferguson

I am the Rector of Westhill Episcopal Church and also a Canon of St Andrew's Cathedral. As well as my role in these areas I also serve as Chaplain to the three Primary schools in Westhill as well as Westhill Academy. I am also an ALPHA advisor for Aberdeenshire. I am married to Heather and we have a teenage son called Daniel who is now doing a gap year with DNA Leadership. I love reading, especially biographies, playing my guitar and watching football- especially Partick Thistle, the best team from Glasgow.

Heather is an Elder and serves in the Leadership Team of the church. She also leads up our Care in the Community Ministries.She gives pastoral oversight to our KFC Leaders. She is often called upon to help young people who have been bereaved, giving them support and comfort and most of all a 'listening ear'  

Steve Townsend

Steve Townsend is married to Jenny. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, where he primarily handles admissions to BSc degree programmes. Steve has oversight responsibility for the All-age Worship Team.

Jill Benstead

Jill Benstead is one of our elders, and oversees the Creche and Focus for Women group and KFC ministries. She has a great passion to hear from God and to use her gifts in the healing ministry of our church.She is married to Paul and has 4 children. Katrine, Josh, Dom and Nathaniel.

Charles Cole

I moved to Westhill in 2001 and currently work in the oil industry. I am married to Toyin and we have two daughters. I have a desire to see Christians walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, growing and becoming more like Jesus Christ in all things and being fully equipped for whatever God has called them to do. I currently oversee the Men's ministry and lead the Young Adult's group. I enjoy most sport - particularly football, squash and the odd bit of running.

Jeremy Burchill

Jeremy Burchill - is a Lay Reader who is married to Carolyn and has two daughters studying away from home. In addition to his preaching and teaching ministry he has oversight of Alpha and the Missions Group. he has recently taken the role as the New Church Buildings Director, with a team under him. The New Church Building Team is appointed by the vestry and responsible for seeing the building project through to its completion.
