Our Vision

Our VISION is to be a church on the move, serving God at the heart of the community.

† Moving IN, in fellowship with one another
† Moving OUT, in reaching out to our community
† Moving UP, in worship to God.

So we are an 'IOU' church - in debt to God, for all that He has done for us through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Why the Logo?

If you look at the stick figure you will see our IOU. The 'I' is the body, the 'O' is the head and the 'U' is the arms of the figure. This is the Vision God has given us - to be a 3-D church that is moving In, Out and Up.

Serving God at the heart of the community

The figure also shows someone lifting hands in praise. This reflects the vital importance of worship at the heart of our church. It is set against a background of a moving river, which for us expresses the River of God's Holy Spirit as spoken of in Ezekiel 47.

Leadership Team

Our church is made up of many people from many different background. If you are new to the church (or just visiting) then please make yourself known to the welcome team as you arrive. We would love to have you join us for our Sunday worship.

Charles Cole

sample imageI moved to Westhill in 2001 and currently work in the oil industry. I am married to Toyin and we have two daughters. I have a desire to see Christians walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, growing and becoming more like Jesus Christ in all things and being fully equipped for whatever God has called them to do. I currently oversee the Men's ministry and lead the Young Adult's group. I enjoy most sport - particularly football, squash and the odd bit of running.

Dave Webster

sample imageMy official job description is youth worker and parish administrator, and effectively what that means is that I function as our church's youth pastor, a school chaplain, and at the same time get involved in a whole heap of stuff in, around and out with the church, like the Alpha Course, Street Cafe, Real Men, our Holiday Bible Club, a load of behind the scenes stuff and the occasional sermon. I am married to Morven, a lovely Godly young woman who God has graced me with as my wife since 2004, and we have 3 boys, Daniel, John and Noah, who are so precious, and an absolute delight...most of the time. I love sports, particularly American Football, but in general most things outside of Cricket. I love reading, talking, debating, films and time with family and friends, but not in that order. I also love to meet new people and hear their story.
